I ask this question, because, as a father, I had to live with angst for nearly two years now. It is so difficult for others to understand our emotions as they see a very indifferent attitude in us men, but do they really know what are our agonies, how we feel being left helpless while the mother gains all the sympathy. Do they really ask what goes inside a daddy's mind. Even if we want to shower all our love to the child their is the chasm being driven between the parents, more so widened everyday, so much so that we are total strangers now..

I agree. I have read and heard of few divorces because the wife was truly nasty. One was HEAVY AOL user and slapped kid when kid asked for drink. Another was due to constant verbal and emotional abuse.
